13.4 billion years? Wow. That's old...

Hubble has spotted a galaxy 13.4 billion light years away. That is to say, it's showing the galaxy as it was 400 million years after Big Bang.

That's awesome.  Imagine what details James Webb Telescope will see if old Hubble can see that far.   So galaxies formed relatively quickly then considering the first stars are theorised to have emerge 100 millions years after the Big Bang.
