Photographing a black hole

I was going to put this in the 'Observing and imaging' section but as this is so far outside almost all Flamsteed members' capabilities, I thought it belonged here.

A new 'virtual' telescope aims to photograph Sagittarius A*, the black hole at the centre of the Milky Way, says the BBC.

Seeing it is one thing. Focusing on the black hole could be a challenge...

Edit: And let's not even mention 'the new kit curse'.
