We received the following note from the Planetary Society who wanted to make members aware of an event that they are running on the 10th June 2017.
SpaceUp is an event that takes place in various major cities across the globe at varying times of the year with talks and discussions throughout the day. Attendees are encouraged to participate in these discussions by sharing ideas with other attendees. This ‘unconference’ sounds as though it’ll be good fun and a good place to meet like-minded people!
Here are the details:
Join the Planetary Society for SpaceUp London 2017!
A SpaceUP is an event where attendees drive the topics discussed and are encouraged to present to each other their interests in astronomy, science and space exploration. Our theme for the day is 'Your Place in Space' and we're really excited about it. We plan to have a few keynote speakers followed by breakout sessions where participants can network and share their ideas.
This event is all about YOU so let us know what you're interested in talking about. We’ll have keynote speakers, T-5 presentations and breakout grid sessions where participants can network and share their ideas.
We have some really exciting speakers to announce very soon - check out our website and Facebook event page and stay tuned for more details!
