For those who didn't receive the access instructions for this evening's Flamsteed History of Astronomy Group meeting at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the meeting starts at 7pm (Tuesday 30 September).

As Greenwich Park is open until 8pm at this time of year, you can access the park via any gate. If you are driving, you can access the park via either Blackheath or St Mary's Gate and park outside the Royal Observatory. You do not have to pay for parking after 6pm. If you are coming on foot or via public transport, you can walk through the park to the Royal Observatory.

On arrival, please make your way to the Astronomy Centre, South Building, where staff will direct you to the Planetarium Foyer. Note that it will not be possible to enter the Park between 8:00 and 8:30pm. Exit after the lecture, from 8:30pm, is only via St Marys Gate in Greenwich. There will be a shuttle bus to St Mary's Gate for pedestrians. Note that you may need to wait a few minutes if the minibus is in transit.

I look forward to seeing you all this evening.

NB: If you haven't booked a place for this meeting, we may be able to squeeze you in, but we are very close to capacity.
