Hi all,
We may bring forward our Blackheath observing session to this evening (Friday 11 March) from 7.30pm, as the forecast looks better than tomorrow.
A go/no-go decision will be posted by 5pm.
Mike.
We have decided to GO AHEAD with the Blackheath Observing evening tonight (Friday 11 March). The weather prospects for this evening look like the better of our two options, though it is still possible that the clouds could roll in at some stage during the evening.
However, given that we had to cancel both our January and February observing events, we’ve decided to take the risk!
It would be great to see as many members there as possible. Please bring a telescope if you can… but if you don’t have access to a scope, come along anyway, as there should be plenty of equipment available for you to use.
We will be meeting from 7.30pm at our usual location just north of Talbot Place on Blackheath. Talbot Place is the first left off Goffers Road after the Tea Hut. Parking is free after 6.30pm. A map of the site can be found here:

I hope to see you later this evening.
