Once again in haste, but Martin Male in Romney sent me through another image this morning, this time of Comet Jacques, which can currently be seen in Cassiopeia, and is around magnitude +8.3.
To quote Martin directly, "Got this image around 2330 last evening using the Meade 14" and Canon 60Da at ISO 2000, unguided 60 second exposure. I'll try again another evening when I've trimmed some vegetation that obscured that part of the sky and prevented me using the (guided) imaging kit. I had for some reason thought this comet would only be visible in the southern hemisphere…"
