A local resident has got in touch with the Flamsteed with the offer of a free tripod and mount to anyone who'd like to take it out of his garage (Forest Hill/SE23 area).
All I can tell you is that he says they're 'Orion' brand and that they used to house an 8" reflector which got damaged a while ago. Photos below.
He also has old copies of Astronomy Now if anyone wants them (I'm checking to see what dates he has).
