Ah...you got me. I need to pay more attention to the locations I am imaging as the camera is orientated in random positions...well not quite random, I sets the camera so that I can slew the GOTO mount in horizontal and vertical directions in line with the up, down, left, right buttons on the keypad. I can say that diagonally opposite this region is a much larger and thicker filament, if that helps. I will also process an image of that as I actually shot the whole sun in overlapping segments so at some point in future, I will attempt a mosaic full disc.
Not sure how to read that Flamsteed VLF receiver but will monitor it over the days to try understand it more. Thanks for the link and again the encouragement. I'm loving observing the sun through the PST itself. Its a special feeling of itself that the images can duplicate.

Hi Tej, there's a good explanation of how to read these graphs on one of our Radio Astronomy Group reports from November 2012, here.
Hopefully, this will explain everything, but, if not, raise a question on the Radio Astronomy Group forum.
