I have now got a working SID system comprising:-
Home made 80 turn loop aerial
Home made Gyrator Receiver
Maplin High definition 7.1 USB sound card
Picoscope DrDAQ A to D converter
Windows 8.1 laptop
I have put the Raspberry PI on the back burner for now.
The loop aerial is about 18meters from the house. I get little or no interference. The aerial signal comes to the house in a screened cable.
At maximum received signal on DH038 on 23.4 KHz I get about 60 dB Signal to Noise ratio.
