I've added a few more photographs from yesterday's solar eclipse event to the bottom of the meeting report here: http://flamsteed.info/2015/03/solar-eclipse-viewing-event/
Have to say, I'm feeling pretty knackered today, after that event and a Blackheath observing event yesterday evening (where we had a couple of successful hours of observing, and a decent attendance).
I would have uploaded these images earlier otherwise!

I'm not surprised! π I hope you had good rest today! I must admit that I haven't done much at all today, the various events all through this week and back and forth between London and Brighton took its toll! Well worth it though!
Just found this Getty Images link with a great shot of Rupert - and more (professional) photos from Greenwich (and from a few other places that didn't have cloudgazing fun like we had)!

That reminds me the time I took my friends to a Blackheath event for the lunar eclipse (I think) and as there was nothing to see, I pointed at the entrance of the hotel... I had to give them something!! :p
Great picture, hope Rupert got modelling fees.

Wow, thats a Spielbergian hollywood shot, right there:
"Smile, you son of a...",
Starring Rupert Smith as Chief Brody and Clouds as Eclipse eater
I've uploaded a slideshow video of images from the event to Vimeo, which you can view here:
We will run this video prior to the next lecture.
