Just a quick introductory message to the forum having just recently joined the society and attended my first event last night. Great talk by Dr Peter Grindrod and everyone I met was super friendly! Also quite useful attending on an AGM evening - to put names to faces. Looking forward to the coming weeks/months/years(?).
As a little bit of background. I've always been interested in astronomy even though my contributions have waned in recent years. Now looking to get back involved. By day I'm a software engineer/architect.
Anyhow, enough rambling
Welcome to the Flamsteed!
Glad that you enjoyed the lecture last night. Sadly, work commitments meant that I couldn't attend, but I should be at most of the lectures for the remainder of the season, along with most of the observing events.
Hope to see you at a future event.
Welcome to Flamsteed

hope to see you at the pub on the 24th 😀
Would be rude not to - especially with it being just round the corner.
See you there!
